My favourite recently realeased movie is DUNE:Part II.
Let me first briefly summarize this film and its prequel, following the journey of Paul Atreides.
The prequel was about Paul as the son of Duke Leto, who is sent to take control of Arrakis, a desert planet known for its valuable spice. The Emperor secretly conspires against Leto, resulting in an attack on their house. Paul and Lady Jessica, his mother, escape and find refuge with the native Fremen. Paul joins the Fremen to fulfill his father’s mission of bringing peace to Arrakis. Meanwhile, the Harkonnens seize control of the planet, prompting Paul to plan a strategic marriage to one of the Emperor’s daughters to prevent further conflict.
The sequel was about Paul and Jessica facing challenges and suspicions among the Fremen, but they believe in the prophecy that foretells their role in bringing prosperity to Arrakis. Paul immerses himself in Fremen culture, falls in love with Chani, and becomes a skilled fighter. As the oppressive rule of the Harkonnens persists, Paul leads the Fremen in raids and adopts new identities. Paul’s visions of a holy war trouble him, but he accepts his destiny as the messiah-like figure known as the Lisan al Gaib. With the support of the Fremen, he confronts the Emperor and overcomes his enemies, ultimately becoming the ruler of Arrakis.
I had some reflections on the films as below.
I think these two movies are amazing as the atmosphere is vibrant, involving epic filming skills. They also show visual descriptions rather than progressing the plots too quickly and surprising me by its enormous scale.
The films also show important themes: the urgency of climate change and the need for responsible resource management, the role of faith in driving civilization, and the historical dynamics of power and oppression. They highlight the impact of fossil fuel dependence and call for environmental responsibility. They also explore the influence of faith on society, examining fate and belief systems. Additionally, they mention the recurring inequalities and power dynamics throughout history.
They also remind me about something personal, including my responsibility being myself – What will be the goals in my whole life? In what aspects will I engage in the society and contribute? They also, again, remark the significance of bravery, to explore, to accept and to bear those destinies. We cannot control fortune, but we should do our best to manage our choices well.
I watched the first episode last year with less understanding but after my review, I was inspired a lot. I cannot wait to watch the sequel (if there will be)! Thank you so much paying attention on this 😀
My previous watched film is Violent night,This film is about a Santa wants to bring people a happy Christmas. I am a human child. What children want is more and more simple. It is not a game or a game. At the same time, more children appear on the bad kids list. Families are robbed by a group of bad guys on the bad kids list. , where there is a little sister who is a typical well-behaved child, so Santa Claus happened to come to this room and decided to save.
At last ,all the group of bad guys on the bad kids list died on santa hand . this is a really fun movie .do you ever think that the Santa in your mind is a big killer since the many years before .
This movie makes people reverse their thinking about Santa Claus, and the original Santa Claus who only rides reindeer in his heart becomes a Santa Claus who tries his best to protect the children
although this movie is not a movie which easy make people cry , i still cry in some of the period such as santa is dieing .this movie seems scary but i think i recommend to all the people.
A recent movie I’ve watched is Pinocchio(2022). It is basically a remake of the original one (1940 version). The story starts with a woodworker named Geppetto, whose wife and son passed away years ago. He makes a wish for his wooden puppet of his son to be real and his wish is granted by the blue fairy. The boy is named Pinocchio and he can only become a real boy if he proves he’s truthful, unselfish and brave. With the help of his conscience, Jiminy Cricket, he attempted to follow his dad’s order, going to school. He faced many enticements and ended up saving his father and bringing them back home.
I don’t think the 2022 version of Pinocchio is the best remake of Disney. The plot is rather boring and a lot of parts don’t make sense. For example, a well-known thing about Pinocchio the story is his nose growing longer when he lies, teaching children not to lie. However, in the movie, Pinocchio learnt this about his nose while he was stuck in a cage, and used his nose to grab in order to escape! This doesn’t really make sense to me. What are they trying to bring out now? The fact that lying helps you sometimes?
Another thing is a lot of important parts in the original movie are shortened or cut, while a lot of necessary parts are added. An example is Monstro the whale. In the original story, Geppetto was swallowed by the whale and later saved by Pinocchio and Jiminy, which was a huge challenge and took a very long time. But in the remake, Pinnochio and Geppetto were both swallowed by the whale together and basically spent a few minutes getting out. How could Pinocchio learn from that?
I’m also not a big fan of the ending of this movie. The remake never told us whether Pinocchio became a real boy or not. Instead, it ended with Pinocchio’s “magic tear” saving Geppetto and walking home together. This is kind of nonsense as it was never mentioned before
The only thing I liked about the movie is the animation. Even though a lot of the audience complained about them being too creepy-looking. I think they look very aesthetic and realistic. Also, the colors used were bright with a warm tone and fitted the film.
Overall, I am quite disappointed and I wouldn’t recommend this movie, especially to people who have watched the original movie. The plot was plain without many changes and there wasn’t a clear moral.
The great movie that I watched recently must be Interstellar. Interstellar is a science fiction film. I love this film because of one short plot. That plot was talking about the leading man, Cropper. He had to control Endurance(an interplanetary spacecraft)dock successfully. If he couldn’t, he may die. In this intensive plot, it had an almost perfect’s soundtrack. I love science fiction films, especially about the universe. I hope that I can watch more of these kinds of wonderful movies this year.

I love Interstellar too, it’s one of my favourite movies! I agree on your opinion of the soundtracks being almost perfect, they miraculously bring back memories of mine and move me into tears.
My previous watched film is Spider-Man: No way home. It is a new film taken by both Sony And Marvel Studio, in the film, Mysterio( last film’s villain) told every one that Peter Parker is the Spider man and he killed him. Everyone then hate him a lot, so he find Doctor Strange if he can help him to let everyone forget Peter Parker is Spider Man, but the spell failed. People know Peter Parker is Spider Man came from the other multiverse, for example Dr Octavius, Sandman and Electro. And later two spider man from other universe and they try to save the bad guys that will be killed by spider man in every universes. At last that fight with the bad guys and let them back though a new spell-everyone will forget Peter Parker is Spider man.
I think this film is touching because Aunt May dead unfortunately, and at last MJ and Ned forget Peter Parker, it is very sad at last.
The movie I have recently watched is ‘The Thief Lord’. It is about orphaned brothers, Prosper and Bo escaping from their wicked aunt to Venice. They don’t have money to buy food so they steal them. Once they are caught, they are rescued from the Thief Lord. The Thief Lord takes them to a cinema where three orphaned children rescued by the Thief Lord also live there. They form a thief group and embark on a series of adventures in the city. They stay together happily on the boat like a family at last.
I like the movie, it is a sad scene at first, but the ending is happy and warm at last. My favourite character is Prosper. He loves his little brother so much and always cares for him and takes care of him. In a scene, Bo is sick, Prosper is not sure about stealing medicine for Bo, but because Bo is in pain and they don’t have money to see a doctor, he steals for him and gets caught at last. In this scene, we can know that Prosper really cares for Bo and is a good brother. The movie is definitely a good film. I highly recommend you this movie. Don’t miss it!

The movie I have just watched is Spider-Man: No Way Home. It was released on 15 Dec 2021 and I watched it on 20th Dec 2021. It is one of the movies I have ever watched. Spider-Man wants to have two different life but he realized it is impossible for him. So he sacrifices himself, to let everybody forget who is Peter Parker. Another scene that makes me cry is Aunt May’s death. She was stabbed by Norman Osborn’s aircraft. She also sacrifices in the movie, for protecting the cue. The last words she said, which are the classic lines ‘With great power comes great responsibility.’ These touching scenes made me feel sad. But also make this a better movie. If you haven’t watched it, you better watch it now! Although I have just done a spoiler. 🙂
I watch it too, Aunt May’s dead is touching, And I also love the motto of spider man ‘with great power comes great responsibility’
My favorite film is Parasite which was directed by Boon Joon-ho. It is a Black comedy thriller film. This film is about a family who worked for a rich man. They found out that the longer time they work, the lower their self-esteem is. One day, they found a low-income family who lived underground. Finally, their self-esteem was hurt by the rich family so the poor family killed the rich man.
The plot of the film is similar to real life. The actor of this film wasn’t very handsome or pretty. The movie scene is very authentic, which is similar to real poor families. It could make the audience more empathic. They will have real feelings. Although there are some bloody scenes, I don’t think they are horrible. It is because if you watch the whole film, you will know why poor people kill rich people. The whole film is like a documentary, which tells you a real story. You won’t think it is too imaginary.
My favourite movie is Charlie and the chocolate factory.
This film is about a special adventure in a large chocolate factory. There are5 random tickets in the country which put by the factory’s owner Wonka, putting them into different bars of Chocolate which sell in every different shops and markets. Charlie is a child who lives in a poverty family and love chocolate so much. One day, he found ten dollars in the street, he bought a bar of chocolate in the nearest snack shop. Surprisingly, there is a golden ticket inside. He invited his grandpa to visit the factory with him and there are many funny and unforgettable experiences there.
Although Charlie isn’t living in a rich family, he tried his best to share his happiness with his family and friends. I really appreciate him and I should learn from him!
My favourite movie must be Joker,. Honesty, I am a fan of DC comics, I love superheroes stories a lot.
In the film, Arthur Fleck is an ordinary working class in Gotham City. He is a stand-up comedian. But he suffers from a rare mental illness that causes him to laugh at untimely times. Therefore, he can only receive treatment from social welfare agency personnel to obtain medicine. Arthur is bullied by others for a long period of time, his colleague gives him a pistol. But Arthur drops the pistol during his performance, his colleague lies then Arthur is fired. He uses the pistol to kill three businessmen and his colleague. After that, he kills his mother in the hospital then participates on a talk show and calls himself “Joker”. This resulting demonstrations against the wealthy spread everywhere. Everyone is wearing joker masks. After that he denounced how the society abandoned and mocked him and shot the host who refused him. Arthur is arrested, and he kills Thomas-the mayoral candidate, and his wife. In the end of the film, Arthur is imprisoned in the hospital, chasing by the hospital attendant at the end of the corridor.
Before watching this movie, I already knew the character Joker from a book. His madness fascinated me. In the movie, Arthur (also known as the Joker) is in poverty. He suffers from a rare mental illness that causes him to laugh at untimely times. In addition, a video shows the Joker laughing while performing a stand-up comedy, and the audience regards it as entertainment. All of the above makes me sad. There is a scene in the movie that makes me feel very unforgettable – Joker is dancing down from a long staircase step by step. He is laughing wantonly and shaking his body happily. After that, he is chased by two policemen. And causes a riot in the train station. The rebellion later on let Arthur find his own way. The mobs and fire around him make him look evil and relax. This… is the real Arthur, the real Joker. A new him.
In DC comics, Joker is one of the superheroes who have no superpower. Yet he has far superior wisdom from others and elusive thinking. He is portrayed as a superb criminal with a twisted, sadistic sense of humor. His experiences are touching. His makeup and laughter are his hallmarks. Joker is definitely the character I like most in DC comics.
I personally think that Joker’s actor Joaquin Rafael Phoenix played a good role. He perfectly showed the crazy temperament of Joker. The special effects of this movie are very good. As the plot and special effects are excellent, I strongly recommend you to watch this movie. you will like it.
I truly agree with you.I love Joker too!I love the plot and the theme of it.The theme if Joker is comedy and I think it is very interesting and special.Besides,Joaquin Rafael Phoenix is also one of my favourite actors.I can see his afford putting in Joker and acting.I remember in a interview,he said he practiced different kind of smiling and to get into the character of Arthur Fleck, Phoenix lost 52 pounds for the role by eating a restrictive diet.I think He is really a good actor.

I’m a big fan of R.J. Palacio and I had read every book she has written, like Pluto, White Bird… but my favorite one is Wonder. One day I was walking along the street. I saw this novel on the shelf in the bookshop and I immediately bought it. I’ve also watched the film once it came out in the cinemas.
And now I am going to share this book, full of Wonders, a story about August Pullman from a real-life story…
It tells the story of 10-year-old Auggie Pullman, a fictional boy with facial differences, and his experiences in everyday life dealing with the condition. When he was born, everything changed from a happy start to a horror movie. It was a very big shock to his parents, they were thinking ‘ Is this my child, why is this happening to me, is this a nightmare?’ August had done over 51 surgeries in his first month, his parents and doctors thought he wouldn’t survive because most won’t survive it. But he survived and was very healthy.
August was always being the one who was stared at all the time. From he was a baby in the pram, to playing in the playground and now he had to go to elementary school. He was homeschooled but his parents thought that it was time for him to know the real world he was in, not any fantasy in storybooks. August had suffered a lot of pressure because he was looked at in an abnormal way, not like others.
On the first day, he went to school, everyone was staring at him, some were whispering to each other to talk about him as a freak, some just kept silent. ‘ It was only the first day for him, what can happen to him to face those students for years!’
But he met Jack Will, his best friend, and buddy. Friends can have a lot of ups and downs, so do Jack Will and August. It happened at Halloween, August’s favorite festival because he could cover his face and no one would stare at him. Since no one could see him, Jack said to his classmates that he would die if he was August. August burst in tears. When he got home and cried, his sister comforted him and tried to say to him that his dog was very sick but he shouted at her and banged the door. Then his mom showed up and told him about his dog daisy. Mom took Daisy to the hospital… Unfortunately, Daisy didn’t make it, August had learned that Daisy was his true friend, she never complains and always cheers him up.
Back at school, August made a friend Summer, she saw him being told as a freak and broke up with her friends who laughed at him and she had lunch with him. They named themselves as the Summer group.
Jack found out that August hated him and asked Summer what was going on, then she told him that about what he said at Halloween which broke August’s heart. Jack apologized and they became buddies again.
Meanwhile, the bullies were taught by the principal and learned a valuable lesson, ‘ August can’t change his look, but you can change how you look at him…’
At the school camp, August sneaked out of the camp with Jack Will and met some bullies who were seniors. They were being mean to August and Jack stood in front of him but then he was hit by the bullies for protecting him. Suddenly the bullies who bullied August before showed up and fought them back. August’s team won at last.
This was not the end of the story, it was only the start… There’s still a very long journey for August to continue.
I’ve learned that ‘ not every happy ending has a great start.’ I’ve learned a very valuable lesson from this novel. We should respect others no matter how they look, no matter what country they are from. We should always love others and support others no matter what we are going through. And I’ve learned that true beauty is not from how you look, it’s who you are, everybody has their beautiful butterflies inside of their heart…
This book is on my number one list, I must recommend this lovely novel to you guys. I bet you will learn a valuable lesson.
Oh, yes. I agree Wonder is really good. I also read the book and saw the movie. This is one of my favourite movies because I think the message is meaningful! If we have time, I think we can discuss something more about the book and the movie together too~
I love Wonder too! I enjoy the movie so much as it has bring out an important message that we always miss it. Auggie Pullman not merely didn’t give up, but also cherish every moment in his life. I really appreciate his spirit and sometimes when we want to give up, watch this movie, then you’ll be energetic again!

I have recently watch a movie called Dora and the Lost City of Gold. You might wonder why, as a student studying in secondary school, would I watch this movie. So to start off, I want to tell you all that this movie is not what I or you would have ever expected.
Dora Márquez was originally a 6-year-old girl living in the jungle deep inside Peru. When she reached the age of high school, Mr and Mrs Márquez decided to go on an adventure to search for the Lost City of Gold, or Parapata, so they sent Dora to the city to live with Diego, Dora’s cousin, his parents and their grandmother. Dora went to the same school as Diego’s, and one day they went on a field trip to the museum. Eventually, because their group, consisting of Dora, Diego, Sammy and Randy, fell into a trap by the bad guys in the movie, they got flown to Peru and they were forced to lead the bad guys to find Mr and Mrs Márquez so they could find Parapata. On the way, the teens met a man called Alejandro Gutierrez, who claimed that he was an old friend of the Márquezes (and apparently he is NOT, so spoiler alert) and he claimed that Mr and Mrs Márquez have gone missing. So Dora promised to help find her parents, while Alejandro helped the teens “escape” and Diego, Sammy and Randy followed in hopes of getting out of the jungle. So the gang went through a series of obstacles and after Mr and Mrs Márquez were found, Alejandro revealed that he was actually the leader of the bad guys. Mr and Mrs Márquez were held under duress and the teens went on to find Parapata in hopes of finding the treasure in the City that could perhaps be used to exchange with Mr and Mrs Márquez. But Alejandro was following them in secret and Alejandro attempted to give an offering to the Gods of Parapata. However, Alejandro gave the wrong offering and he managed to avoid himself being killed by the trap and he called his confederates for help. Just in the nick of time, the Lost Guardians and the Queen of Parapata arrived with Dora’s parents. In order to enter Parapata, Dora must choose the right offering and she did. After a glimpse of its greatest treasure, Swiper the Fox, surprisingly one of Alejandro’s confederates, stole the central idol which is made out of gold, and this angered the gods. Dora and Boots successfully restored it back in its place and the City itself was finally restored.
After the gang left Parapata, they comforted each other with hugs and high-fives (and a kiss for Sammy and Diego, so…yeah. I had NO idea how they developed a romance.) And after that, they returned to Dora’s jungle home in Peru on a helicopter. Sammy, Randy and Diego each reunite with their parents. After dinner, Dora and her parents discussed about whether Dora should follow them on a adventure or not, but Dora chose to stay at school with her new friends. Hilariously, Dora’s parents burst into tears.
The movie ended with the friends celebrating with a school dance during the credits, and eventually the whole school joined the dance. As for Alejandro, he stayed in Parapata as a prisoner, and the Guards said that he would stay there for a thousand years.
I love this movie very much because it is about how strangers from the same school get together and unite under various difficulties and obstacles. I also love the special effects and the soundtracks of this movie as it can bring up an anxious atmosphere. This movie is one of the most hilarious comedy movies I have ever seen in my whole life as well. The comedy parts of the movie can relieve the nervousness in the movie somehow and can avoid the audience from getting heart attacks.
All in all, I absolutely love this movie and I recommend all of you to watch it.
I watched Mary Poppins Returns recently. I love the protagonist Mary Poppins most .She appears when people are frustrated.She wears a set of beautiful and elegant clothes, using her wisdom and magic to teach three children to open their imagination and learn to see things from different perspectives .She always says “Everything is possible! Even the impossible.”
Also, the songs are meaningful . More than ten songs advance the plot. Mary Poppins and Jack also use these songs to educate children. Such as “Can You Imagine That?”Tell the child to add more imagination to life, not to be so precocious; “A Cover Is Not the Book” The cover of the elaboration book is not the all of the book, it is not the soul of the book, we must actually read and observe the feelings in order to discover the treasures in the book and even know someone.
The theme of the movie is about nerve forget why you started, holding innocence. This is very important to the adults. As the age grows, the inner thoughts gradually become socialized, and the fantasy things that people believed in have gradually become bubble illusions. In this film,Mary Poppins remind Michael Banks not to forget the childlike mind and learn to use ,looking at things from different ways ,everything can happen miracles.
I have seen a film called Maleficent 2 recently. It is a live-action retelling of a Disney animated classic. As it is regarded as a sequel of ‘Sleeping Beauty’. The casting of this film tells us that the sequel won’t be a box office failure. I’m amazed by the queens, Angelina Jolie as Maleficent, a Dark Fey and Michelle Pfeiffer, the power-hungry Queen of Ulstead. As the character’s performances are so excellent, it is really not a cartoon animation. The film is about war and the peace between human and fairy. The story is actually added something new, so it is exciting to see how the horned villain defeats hypocritical Queen Ingrith.
For Aurora, she hopes her engagement to Prince Philip will finally unite the human and fairy worlds. However, it’s not so easy and ideal to treat with the conflict. Also, in this traditional story, it never gets old for watching Maleficent’s stormy ways of contrast with her daughter’s disposition.
Thus, audiences would find many new components in this film. It is not an old-fashioned film. It is perfectly transformed the images of all characters. The traditional negative imaged queen would be altered to a heroine in changing the world. The spindle hurt is not only to the princess but also the king.
All in all, the film is melodramatic anti-war with imagery. The costumes are noble and royal designed. It is so eye-catching. For Disney music, undoubtedly, the musical arrangement must bring you entering the fantastic comedic world. The film makes up for in ambition, gumption, peace and love. It must win the hearts of the fans of Disney films.
Before reading your film review, I think that Maleficent 2 is just a classical Disney cartoon. However, this is a brand new story which is transformed from ‘Sleeping Beauty’. The story is not as traditional as before. The plot has been changed from classical to magical. The costumes and the movie scenes are so fantastic. The audiences are easily brought into the dark fairy world. Moreover, Disney film’s music must be enchanting to the views.
According to Kelly’s comments, the film seems to be fresh to the viewers. Thus, I’ll also see this film later and enjoy the magical power of Maleficent 2!
I love watching movie very much and my favourite recently released movie is Dolittle,released on 23rd January,2020.
It’s about a physician who can talk to animals embarks on an adventure to find a legendary island with a young apprentice and a crew of strange pets.For me,I think the best stuff of the movie is from human actors who briefly appear in somewhat villainous roles. Antonio Banderas plays the king of a foreign land with a bone to pick with Dolittle, and Michael Sheen is the doctor’s longtime rival. Both actors are no strangers to being the best part of whatever they’re in, and they continue the streak here.
It’s an amazing movie and I recommend it to you guys : )
Thanks for your recommendation. After reading your comment, I was immediately attracted by Dolittle. It feels like it would be a fascinating movie. The cast is star-studded that Ironman (Robert Downey Jr) was in the movie was enough to get me into the movie. I thought that no matter how good or bad the story was, he would carry the movie. And he did. But he had a lot of help, which made it a lot of fun. Robert Downey Jr.’s Acting was amazing. We thought he was good before — he’s only getting better. Different to those Marvel Studio movies, he was cloaked with a different personality than we’re used to seeing. And the fact that he nailed that so well was just awesome to see.
I have never liked talking animal movies, but Dolittle has really attracted me. The humor, the voice acting, the dialogue in it just won me over. All in all, you won’t regret seeing this movie, no matter how macho you think you are. Go see it; check it out for yourself. You won’t be disappointed.
The movie I watched recently is Frozen 2.I think it is very good . The animation is delicate.The team use about 6years to produce this cartoon.You can see all the characters’ hair clearly.The song is very interesting to listen too.The melody of“ah ah ah ah ~” and the Sentence “and into the unknown, in to the unknown~”is always come to my mind after I watch the movie.I have watched Frozen 1 six years ago.It is hard to choose which one is better.The story is very different.I like both very much.If you haven’t watch it ,you must go to watch.You will love it

I have watched Frozen2 in 30th Nov,I thought that is a very big difference between Frozen1 and Frozen 2, since I love Frozen 2 more. First, I thought that the dress of Elsa in Frozen 2 was more pretty and beautiful, It had a big difference with the first one, besides since this is the second season, it had more language for the theme songs, for example Chinese, Korera….. While I was watching this movie, I thought the songs that sang by Olaf were extremely funny, since I watched the Chinese version. It was an incredible fantastic film, therefore, I am going to watch the English version again. Hope that the director will make Frozen 3 , since after watching this film, I love frozen a lot. The movie I watched recently is Maleficent: Mistress of Evil. This is the sequel of Maleficent. This movie is a dark fantasy adventure film and is produced by Disney.

This film’s main character is Maleficent, the evil woman who curses Aurora in the animated film. This film talks about Aurora and Maleficent go to Prince Phillip’s castle to meet his parents. However, this is a trap for Maleficent which is made by Queen Ingrith, Prince Phillip’s mother.
I think the ending in this film is good. Aurora and Phillip lives happily and Maleficent goes back to her kingdom and rules it. In the animated film, Maleficent died but the film changes the ending which is nice.
The theme of the movie is ‘be yourself’ . When you try to be something different than what you are, you go against your true nature it’s going to suffocate you inside. It’s not what you are born to be. When the world can handle it or not, is not your problem, be yourself. I love this movie a lot and hope you like it!
I watched the movie Aladdin in June.It is released on 24th May.It is a fantasy adventure musical and based on the original animation Aladdin produced by Disney.
I enjoyed watching Aladdin a lot because it’s fascinating and heart-stopping.The big scenes in this movie grand and classical.
I love the love story between Aladdin and Jasmine.Aladdin wants to get Jasmine’s attention,so he dresses as Prince Ali in a fictional kingdom Ababwa. Aladdin and the genie gives a lot of gifts to the Sultan and dances with Jasmine in the ball.It is so hilarious to see Aladdin dances like a robot!Fortunately they lives happily together after overcome lots of challenges.
Besides, I think the new ending is better than the original ones.Jasmine becomes the sultan and marries Aladdin.Why it’s special that Jasmine becomes the king of Agrabah?It’s because when Jasmine’s father is sultan,the rules stipulate that only men could be sultan.However,Jasmine is different from the original movie–she isn’t just another pretty face but becomes an independent and courageous speak for herself,her country and people.

Last Sunday,I watched a movie about Christmas.The name of the film is “Klaus”.It is released on 8th November,2019.It’s a Spanish comedy movie.
The story is about a boy called Jasper who comes from a wealthy family is forced to leave the original comfortable life and can only reluctantly go to the icy island on the edge of the map to serve the residents and he met the Santa Claus,Klaus there and they have an adventure there.
I like this film very much because it’s touching and I can learn many things from the film.In the story,Klaus said,’A true act of goodwill always sparks another.I learned that everyone wants a better life,and it may be difficult to be as generous and unrequited as the characters in fairy tales.However,even if it is no longer as innocent as a child,it does not mean that you have lost your tenderness.Jasper was hesitant when the dream of returning home came…After all,these characters still act for themselves,but what they want is certainly not a tangible material return.Also,not only it is a new interpretation of the origins of this well-known baerded old man;behind the right fantasy and the growth of each character,sincere and touching emotions link the development of the entire story.

The movie I watch recently is . This is a film about 20 years ago. The movie is about the story of two people, one middle-age man ,and one twelve-year-old girl. In the beginning of the movie, Leon is a hitman (or a “cleaner” , refers to himself) who is paid to kill the person that order. His works come from Tony. He leaves in New York. He does not have any friends and he just has a flower staying with him. His neighbor is Mathilda. One day, a police officer comes to her home and kills her father as he think her dad kept some drugs and wanted to keep the plunder himself. Luckily, she goes shopping and is saved. Later, she lives will Leon and learn how to use the gun by the teaching of Leon. After that, she goes back her home and take her 20 thousand to Leon and ask him to kill the murderer of his little, nice, brother. She has tried by herself, but of course failed because she is still to young and is not wiser than the policeman. At the end, although Leon saves her from the police station, the police have been to his house and wanna to kill them. Leon finally asks Mathilda to bring along his ‘lover’,his favourite flower to leave and die with the policeman who kill Mathilda’s younger brother.
This is a touching movie. Many people will think that a hit man is scary like a murderer. Yes, this is. However, it is not cool inside their heart. They don’t want to be lonely and Insecure.In the movie, not only the age of them ,the career of them is also different. The director can put two characters together and make it a touching story. I think it is well- done. Also, I think that the young girl is too brave and I just want to say to her that she should think about the result if she is going to kill someone without help from Leon, the professional.

After that, they find where is Thanos (he became farmer) and want to get back six infinity stones and let half of the population come back, but 2 days before Thanos use stones to destroy stones. Then Thor executes him and go away. After 5 years, ant-man comes out from the quantum realm, and tell that they may make time travel to stop Thanos. Iron man firstly disagree to help them since he doesn’t want to lose his family but his wife encourages him, so at last Iron man still come to help. Thor become a fat guy since he drinks beer every day to try to forget Thanos, and he come to help Avengers too. They do time travel successfully. But Black Widow die from falling because of the soul stone. But Nebula was caught by Thanos(past) and Thanos decided to lead his army to get the infinity gauntlet and send the Nebula(past) to help him to use time machine to go to 2024(now). Hulk snaps his finger difficultly and suffer a hurt, but another 50% of population come back. Thanos army arrives and attack the base of Avengers. My favorite recently released movie is the “First Man”. It is the life story of Neil Armstrong, played by Ryan Gosling. He was the first person who walked on the moon. He really did a great job in exploring the moon.
The film is full of astounding courage, tragedy and triumph. Unlike other space films, other than the starry scenes of the universe, I like the director particularly when he describes how Armstrong keeps his emotions under tight control. Before he completed NASA’s Lunar Landing program, he had received much pressure about her daughter’s death, colleagues’s death in spaceship fire and space-race polities behind NASA’s Apollo program. Especially, when Armstrong wanted to save his two-year-old daughter, Karen, who suffered from brain tumor. Armstrong kept a detailed log of her symptoms and treatments, but she died soon afterwards. He loved her so much. It was so touching that after he successfully setting foot on Moon, Armstrong dropped Karen’s bracelet into the Little West crater. His love to her daughter really impressed me so much.
I highly recommend this film because it could take your breath away and even pull tears from your eyes.

I like this film so much too! The mainly reasons are the film is full of creative things and it gives me an important lesson. I can find a lot of characters that are in other films and books, such as The Shining. And I have learnt that playing games can relax ourselves and have fun, but we should spend more time with the one we love.

Avengers : Infinity war is my favorite in the recently released film. The movie has reached the highest income in the history. On 11th May, the income has reached 1.291 billion USD. For no doubt, it is surely the greatly film recently released.
And here is some reasons about why I loved it. Firstly, the plot have been arranged by Marvel comic for over 10 years and 19 films. This is a show of hand of all superheros in the Marvel Movie. I especially like Doctor Strange, Peter Parker and also Stark. The casting is surely a selling point. Also, the plot is very amusing , there is place for laugh, there is place for touching, there are even place for admiring the old movies that the company has released long time ago.
Also the music of the film is really very exciting, as many people said “2D is not enough for this movie, 4D barely meet the requirement for full experience.” , you know how attractive this film is. The CG is the best I have seen.

I agree that STAR WARS: EPISODE VIII THE LAST JEDI is surely a BLOCKBUSTER. Not only the high tech is a selling point, the film has been the Eighth film of the series, but i was disappointed when i see it at the cinema. The CG is not really good compared to the moderns Movies . It is true that the plot is full with exciting moments , but dont you think it is a bit strange? The plot is not really smooth. But there is still something good for this film– the music, the ordinary and familiar music make the audiences back to the 80s. To some extant, it is still a great movie in 2017 and 2018
Passenger is my favourite film recently certainly. The topic is new and also the plot because I even haven’t seen this kind of topic before. Also, I was interested in space so I love this. It is about the man was wake up early which that he is supposed to be wake up after 120 years, but he wake up early for 90 years long! He was lonely and he wake up the girl she fell in love with, in his way. They fell in love very soon. But they discover that there’s some problem in the transporter, the experience of how they solve this dangerous problem and romantic story is fantistic!

It was such a fun movie that also had lots of great action sequences, I did like the first one very much but I think this one was much better because of how funny it was.
Everyone in the cast was very good too, I have started to like Chris Pratt very much lately and this role just fits him perfectly even though I would like to see him play more serious roles as well, Passenger was more serious and he did good but more of that as well.
But yea it was a great and hilarious movie.

In Despicable Me 3 , Balthazar steals a diamond on a ship. And Gru and Dru wants to stop Balthazar.

There are many good movies around the world. But for me, Princess Mononoke is always the best. It is about a boy , Ashitaka, who killed a demon to protect his village, But he had a curse that was given by the demon and it will eventually kill him. then he decided to go to the western forest, he met two injured Irontown men and brought them back to the Irontown.
In Irontown, Ashitaka discovered that the local people cut down trees and produced iron.It was leading to conflict with the forest gods included Princess Mononoke ,the daughter of the wolf goddess .Ashitaka didn’t want to stand for both side.He just want to bring peace to the forest.But how could he finish this impossible mission?
This movie amazed me with its beautiful drawing and exciting plot .However, the most fantastic thing of the movie is its central theme:balance between the natural environment and the human activities .Especially the industry development .People needs metals such as iron lead for living .The factory provides us our daily necessities but it is harmful to the environment at the same time.Nowadays,people destroy the earth and some of them even think they can fight against the environment .This movie does not only tell us to protect the environment,it also emphasize the importance of balancing the humankind’s development and the natural environment.

I love La La Land too. It is a meaningful story about two dream chasers. The ending is so sad and I agree that the performance of the main actress,Emma Stone is outstanding.
‘La la land’ is a good film, l like it too.The story is very inspiring and the music in the film is very good because l like Jezz music.And my favourite in the film which is ‘City of star’.Also it got some prizes in the Oscar 2017 for example the “Best Actress”!. Both Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone acted well in it. This film must watched more than once time.

This film is about a lively boy who call PETER PARKER.After the war in the airport ,Paker become a simple student ,he is good at maths and science but he can not forget he is spider man so he always use this identity to help people and forgive the change to join the maths comepitition.but one time he break a illegal activities so he start a feud a bad guy call Tom and it is his girl friend dad..Iron man worried that peter will have dangerous so he get back the spider man suit and say “If you do not have this dress is useless, then you do not deserve it”

My favourite film is “Nine Lives”.This is a file about a daredevil billionaire,Tom,whose lifestyle has disconnected him from his family.When his daughter Rebecca had her birthday,she wanted a cat as a gift.On that day,the pet store owner Perkins gares Tome a majestictom cat.When Tom is on the way to his daughter’s birthday party,he has a terrible accident and he became a cat which he dislikes very much.
I think family relationship is important to everyone.In this film,Rebecca’s father is a workaholic.He spends only a few time with his family.I think it’s a sad story because Rebecca and his wife visit Tom everyday and cry a lot near his bed if Tom cannot returned to be a human again.Actually,I was attracted by the cat on the DVD cover.
When you are asking me about what is my favourite movie?That must be “Inside Out”.It is because it has a fantastic plot which can shows emotion of a people in every moment.Such as when we need to leave our safe zone”our home ” and we need to move to a new one,we must be not convinent for us.If our best friend need to leave us,we must be so sad and miss them a lot.However ,we need to find a way fr ourselves to solve the pressure,such as listen to pop music and maybe even sleep.We should learn from the main character in the movie to leave her parents,this only will make your parents worry about you but you even can’t solve the problem yet!From the movie,I can learn a lot ,to control our emotion ,this makes our life more happlier too!

My favourite recently released movie in 2016 is an American movie–SING. It’s a story about how people …animals chase after their dreams. It starts with a koala named Buster, who loves acting and owns a theatre although the general box-office of the shows there is dissatisfying. One day, he thinks of an idea to increase the income and popularity of his theatre: organizing a singing contest, when he is facing financial difficulties. However, Buster’s assistant accidentally type the prize reward wrongly, by increasing the original one for one hundred times. And so, hundreds of animals in the city comes to gather for audition for the contest, including an ordinary housewife, Rosita the pig, an arrogant street musician, Mike the mouse, a son of a robber, Johnny the gorilla, an active punk-rock dancer, Ash the pig and a timid teenager, Meena the elephant. All of them get into the finals of the contest. They practise hard and pay much efforts. As a transition of the story, Mike is chased by some people from criminal syndicate because of his debt when he had gambled, and here comes the disaster. The entire building of Buster’s theatre falls down without a complete piece left. However, the performers still encourage Buster to hold the singing contest, and turns it to a performance instead, even though there’s no more huge prize reward for the winner, which used to be the thing motivate them to join the contest at the beginning. Buster is touched by their passion. They rebuild a simple open-air theatre with great determinations and solidarity. Finally they make a very successful show and people from everywhere come to watch it in amazements. Every single of the performer shine bright on the stage, prove that they are much talented partly due to their hard practise and they reach their dreams. It seems to be a childful cartoon, but it’s not indeed. It is very meaningful and inspiring. Each of the character presents as a reflection of us in the society. Everyone has got their dreams, without being doubted, I think we should treasure the time and chance to chase for it in order not to be regretful with lives and passed time. I’ve got a lesson. Moreover, the songs sung by the character are lovable. I sure love this movie.^~^
Talking about my favourite movie recently, I have to first talk about what kind of movies I like. To be one of them, firstly, it needs to be a funny one or at least part of, since I like to laugh of course and as I think watching movies is a leisure activities, why do I need to make myself sad or angry or negative? So, my first requirement is that it has to be funny. Secondly, it needs to be something meaningful that it will teach you something or will inspire you. Thirdly, of course a good director and actors, if there isn’t, no matter how good is the plot, it is rubbish.
And now, let’s talk about my favourite movie, it is nothing popular but a low-cost movie, it is called “The Dinner”. It is about a few pair of couples having dinner together with their really close friends. They were playing a game that everyone had to hand their phone to see their conversations with each other which made them ruptured at last.
My favorite movie recently would be Mad World. It is a Hong Kong movie that has been quite popular these days, as the director of this movie has won the best new director. It seems hard to believe that this movie is made by a new director as it is really good and touching.
This movie is about a man named Tung, who suffers from bipolar disorder. His mother died of an accident when he was fighting with her, and he had been sent to the mental hospital. After he get out, his father takes him back to his own home, trying to fix their relationship as they weren’t close since his father seldom comes home when he was little and he is the only one there to take care of his mother. Later it revealed why Tung get the bipolar disorder: Even he spent lots of time taking care of his sick mother, his mother always complained about him and want Tung’s brother to take care of her instead of him. On the other hand, his engaged wife wanted to sent his mother to the elderly’s home which causes a fight between them. Feeling helpless and facing such pressure, Tung finally broke down and caused the accident. Although the judge didn’t see him as guity and release him, he has been labelled as ‘crazy’ ‘mental already. Many things happened then, and it slowly show the ugly side of the society.
My heart ached after watching the movie. The world actually don’t give second chances, and it is fulled of discrimination. Tung is kind actually, but having the disorder have caused fear of the others, and the labels have gave other an excuse to not trust him as normal. There are touching parts too, for example when Tung’s father argued with him and Tung complained about his left. This is the point when Tung and his father finally start to open their hearts and accept each other.
I highly recommend this movie since it is really meaningful and touching. Hope you all can get a chance to see it.
My favorite movie would be the Arrival. It is a 2016 American science fiction film directed by Denis Villeneuve. It is very popular and has a high recommendation on lMDb. The film is great, particularly for its atmosphere, intelligent plot, and Adams’s performance. It has won so many awards, such as ten Movies of the Year, Best Sound Editing, Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Adapted Screenplay.
The story is about twelve giant spacecrafts appear in random locations across the world overnight. Louise , the linguist and the mathematician Ian Donnelly, attempt to decode and translate the language that the creatures inside the spacecrafts are using in order to prevent a global war. After Louise get the way of communication, she starts to teach the aliens the words of earth .Firstly, she aliens send out a sign that is unreadable and look like meaningless .But Louise doesn’t give up, she try harder and harder and finally she finds out the the sign is related the the place on map.
Then, Louise tells the government the results and create a systems that can read the messages give out of the aliens. After that, when Louise finally asks why the aliens have come to Earth, they answer “offer weapon”. An alternate translation of “use weapon” is made at another site. This leads China to break off communications with the rest of the world; other nations also stop exchanging information. However, Louise argues that the symbol interpreted as “weapon” might mean “tool”.
The war is beginning to start, Louise try to communicate with the mayor of china’s army so she steals a phone the can calls out. She remembers the scene that how she persuades the mayor and she talks to China and successfully stop the war.
At last, Louise asked once more and this time the aliens answer that they come to earth to offer the useful tools as they can know that their planet has a great disaster in the future and they need the help of the earth. The alien tells Louise to consociate the 12 country and they can find the ”gift”. Finally, aliens leave the earth and everything the Louise remembers will become the future life of her.
This is a great movie l have ever seen! Although Hollywood has many science film, but no one can be greater than this.And I highly recommend this movie since it is really meaningful and interesting.

One of the best thing in this movuie is it can make you cry. I think the messeage from this movie is : the emotions we think of as negative aren’t totally negative at all, but differnet kinds of emotions are important.It’s because the film allows us to experience them and feel them scouring away at the hulls of our souls.
The story is like that …… San Francisco, where 11-year-old Riley has moved with her parents from the rural Midwest, and inside Riley’s mind, where her five emotions – Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust – are trying to make sense of the upheaval.they have many adventure throughout Riley’s adolescent. it teaches us a lot. I highly recommand you this film.
My favorite movie is ‘ Rogue One: A Star Wars Story ‘. Have you ever seen it?
This movie is the sequel of ‘Star Wars Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith’. The movie is about the Rebel Alliance(The good guys) knew that the Empire (The bad guys) were making a Death Star to kill the good guys. The Rebel Alliance and the people stared disagree each other. At this moment, the main character Jyn and her teammates came out and said to go to the Empire’s basement to get the Death Star’s blueprint. Finally , they succeeded to get the blueprint but they all died on a planet that had the blueprint.
Although the ending is sad, the movie overall is exciting, especially the fighting scenes. I was amazed that The Hong Kong actor, Donnie Yen, had joined this epic movie! i was also amazed by the sound effects and special effects. They were pretty cool and marvelous.
I know that there will be a new Star Wars movie will show in December. I will absolutely watch it . I am a fan of Star Wars!

Despite her fears, she befriends the castle’s enchanted staff and learns to look beyond the Beast’s hideous exterior and realize the kind heart and soul of the true Prince within. Although you may be had read this story when you are in primary school or kindergarten, it is worth to watch the movie again for it fantastic and meaningful plots.

What is my favourite film? For me, Gravity is my first choice, which was nearly released on TVB pearl on 19/2.
Gravity was first released in 2013. It is directed by Alfonso Cuaron. Gravity is a fiction about space, disaster and science. Unlike other films, there is only 2 main characters in this film. Gravity was very famous for its excellent special effects that it won 7 Oscar awards including best director, best visual effect, best sound mixing and best film editing.
I liked this film very much because I was amazed by its special effect. The special effects were extremely lifelike that I even didn’t realized that they were not real. The team must pay a lot of effort and money for these effects. Also, I think that the main character Ryan Stone (acted by Sandra Bullock) was a really strong woman. In the film, she has to go back to the Earth from space but the space ship is damaged. During her narrow escape from the terrible space, she does not feel depressing, but keeps finding methods to go back to the Earth optimistically. When we have problems, we shouldn’t feel depressing, but keeps finding methods to solve it optimistically like Ryan Stone
Overall, Gravity was a good film and I wanted to watch it again.

My favourite movie is IN YOUR EYES.The directors are Rachel Jensen and Jake Lawton.This movie is talking about twenty years ago,little Rebecca skied but she hit a tree carelessly.At the same time,little Dylan was hit by something and he fainted in the classroom.Twenty years later,Rebecca and Dylan find that they can feel with each other.They can look,smell,and hear with each other so they are both hurt twenty years ago.After they find that,they always talk with each other all the day but people think they are strange.Especially Rebecca,she is the wife of Philip – who is a doctor and chairman.Philip thought that Rebecca has an extramarital affair so that he put Rebecca in a cell.Dylan used telepathy to save Rebecca and they escaped to a train.Dylan and Rebecca had their happy life after they escaped.The plot is quite imaginative but it is really good.I am touched for their love.And it is not for a long time to talk about other people so the film is only around 100 minutes.The characters of them are really prominent,it is the reason why this film is good.My favourite scene in the film is the escape scene because it brings excitement to oudience.It is very thrilling to guess the end of the film.

Speaking of my favorite movie recently, I must say that it’s ‘La La Land’, which is on the cover of this Topic already.
This movie has become the BIG winner of Oscar just a few days ago as I type this comment. 6 Awards, 14 Nominations, which has the same record as the record holder, ‘Titanic’, and ‘All About Eve’.
Though I was pretty sad that it didn’t get the Best Picture but I’m still proud of this movie.
I love La La Land because of the few reasons below:
One, It’s music is amazing.
When I first watched this movie, I was immediately attracted by the delighted music ‘Another Day Of Sun’. As the movie process, I hear more and more lovely song.
Two, the thoughts on life that you learn.
At the end of the movie, we know that Mia and Sebastian had to leave with each other because they need to go to meet their dream and they did.
And this encourages us to meet our dream.
